V V G Marketing was founded in 1989 by John Schnatterly. John had recently separated from the U.S. Army where he had a rewarding seven-year stint as an aviation logistician and helicopter test pilot. He wanted to try his hand in private business. John landed some part-time work at a market research and database marketing firm. This was fortunate because John realized that his academic (B.S. in Urban Planning and M.S. in Business Administration) and real life experiences and his love of learning uniquely suited him for market research and market modeling. Clients liked his work and he received referrals. Soon John began his own consultancy.
V V G Marketing does not claim to be an expert in a particular industry, although we do have a lot of experience in steel, chemicals, and medical devices. V V G Marketing does have expertise in understanding the dynamics of markets, customers, competitors and employees. When a business wants to know why they are losing customers to a competitor, or whether customers would be open to a new product from them, or whether they could successfully expand to an adjacent market, V V G Marketing has the experience and market modeling tools to get actionable answers.
As a consulting firm, V V G Marketing is led by John Schnatterly and utilizes a custom built team of experienced researchers and analysts for each project.
